So me and my mom were weeding the other day, and we got talking. In the long run of things, it really doesn't matter if you are the captain of the football team, make the school musical, go to prom, become an sbo, make the drill team, and so on. I mean seriously, nobody is going to come up to you when you're out of high school, and ask,"Hey, did you go to prom?, Were you on the football team? Did you make the school musical?" In all reality, nobody cares about those things after the fact. I mean, I know that it seems important at the time, but what really matters in life is what you do with yourself, how many people you serve, how many smiles you make, and how much happiness you bring. I mean sure all those things are fun at the time, and they are great, but we shouldn't base our lives around them. That shouldn't be our focus on life. We need to remember what's really important, and our lives will be a whole lot better. We will be a lot happier with ourselves. I mean, just because you don't make a team, or go to prom or whatever, doesn't mean that you're not a great person. Those things don't make you who you are. The things that really matter, love, courage, kindness, service, and happiness, that's what makes you you, and that's what really matters.
