Dear voice, please come back

So guess what? I've had a really bad cough lately, and my voice was kind of raspy, then....BAM!! Today I woke up, and my voice was completely gone. I think I got some virus from my mom or something. So when I woke up, I didn't feel good, and I wanted to stay home, but I had to go to English to take the CRTs. Even though it hurts to talk, it's been quite hilarious. I got in the car to go to school, and said hi to my friends, then I started laughing. They thought I was crying because I sounded so bad. Then, I was talking to my friend in English across the row of computers, and he couldn't hear me, so my friend next to me had to translate for me, and tell him what I was saying. During lunch, my friend called me to see if I was feeling well enough to go with him, and I was, so we went to Iceberg. I tried to talk to him, but he didn't understand anything I said, and kept saying "I'm so sorry, but I just don't understand you." Eventually my voice went all the way gone. After that, he pretended he couldn't talk either, and started doing sign language to me the entire time. When he brought me back home, he said he did that so I wouldn't have to respond to anything he said or talk at all. ha ha, what a great friend. All this has made me think. I feel so bad for all the deaf people who can't talk, or even hear. This has just been one day for me, and I will get better soon, but they have to live with it their whole lives. It really makes me grateful for all that I have. Plus, I'm glad I'm a dancer instead of a singer, because I have my concert tonight, and if I was a singer, it would be bad news.

Life's Good

So basically my life has been awesome. I went on a Disney cruise over spring break to the Bahamas, then we stopped by Disneyworld for a few days. It was amazing. I saw wild dolphins, sea turtles, and an aligator, got a tan, (which is a miracle, because that never happens...never), and had tons of fun with my fam. I saw "Princess and the Frog" for the first time, and just kept watching it over and over. I loved it so much, and just had to buy it as soon as possible. It makes me happy :) I am totally in love with Prince Navine, and he's not even real. That's the problem with fictional characters these days, they're just so darn great. This is a problem. I'm not sure if I would go as far as kissing a frog to find my prince, but hopefully he will come someday and sweep me off my feet, but for now I'm doin' fine. I also went and saw "The Last Song" with my mom, because I was having a bad day, she's so great. Anyway, we both loved it, and cried our eyes out. My mom is the best, not even joking. Who else would take me to a movie that Miley is in, and cry through the whole thing with me? When I got home from my trip, I was in our school fashion show, and at first I was a little scared, but it turned out to be a total blast. I'm glad my best friend talked me into doing it. Now I am super busy with dance. I have had either rehersals, class, or concerts every day this week. My first concert was tonight, and it went really well. I'm the wind, and the best part is, I get to glow in a black light, and do a penguin slide. In my other dance I get to be a nightmare that looks like an egyptian princess. Also, I have the best family and friends ever, just sayin'. Yeah, I'd say this is definitley the good life.

Hello World!

Hi world. I have finally created a blog, thanks to my two best buds. I have wanted to do this for a long time, so hopefully it all turns out alright. So today in english, we were characterizing people into colors that match their personality. Some people are bright blue, full of fun, adventure, and energy. Others are red, strong and courageous. My sister, for example would be a very bright green, full of life and spirit. Ellen thinks that I am a darkish pink, because I'm "girly, dancy, and what not." I would say I'm probably a pink too. It's kind of fun to figure out what colors people are. If I could be any color in the world, I think I would choose a super bright blue, or bright pink. I don't know why I'm writing about colors, I guess I'm just in a happy colorful  mood today. :)
