I'm going on a mission!

Well, obviously, I got my call:) I'm going to San Jose, California! Spanish speaking!! :) As soon as I opened the letter, all my fears just went away, and I knew that everything would be ok. The spirit was so strong, and I'm so grateful that I was able to be surrounded by some of the people I love most. I am most excited about the Spanish. I had my hopes up really high for foreign, so I was a little bit disappointed,  but I know California is where I'm supposed to be, so I'm excited:) Heavenly Father's plan is always way better than what we have planned for ourselves, so I know it's going to be really great:) He also knows the desires of our hearts. I was hoping for Spanish speaking the whole time, and he gave it to me:) I just know that I'm going to love it, because I'll be serving the Lord everyday! I leave February 20, and I can't wait! I feel so blessed! My heart is so full. I'm going on a mission!! :)

:)

I have decided to go on a mission! During conference, President Monson announced that the missionary ages have changed. Men can go at 18, and girls can now go at 19. As soon as he announced that, me and my Mom looked at each other and both started crying. We knew I was going to go. I ran upstairs, and said a prayer. Everything felt right. I felt warmth, peace, and a little bit of that "Oh my gosh I'm scared" feeling. I am starting my papers tomorrow, and I can't wait. I can't help but feel that this new change is for me. Some people have told me that this is all so sudden, and I should wait until the summer, but I've talked with Heavenly Father, and we've decided on next semester. I'm putting my availability date for December 26. I cannot wait to serve the Lord for 18 months teaching others about the true happiness of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm nervous, but also really excited. I know this is what I'm supposed to be doing at this time, and I am so grateful for this new blessing in my life.

Life is sweet.

I am so blessed. It's been awhile, so here's some updates.
1. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work as a counselor at Brighton Girls' camp. It changed my life, and I miss it everyday. Miracles happened everyday. I felt the spirit so strong, and I loved seeing my girls' testimonies grow. I had a lot of incredible experiences, and met some best friends, whom I'm sure I knew in the pre-existence. Brighton has taught me so much, and changed me for the better. It will always have a special place in my heart. It was the best summer of my life.

Love all my girls!

2. My life long best friend Justine, left for his mission to the Philippines! Our "See you later" was perfect. We both cried and hugged a lot. We are happy though:) He's been out 2 months now! Crazy! I am so proud of him. He is such an incredible example to me. I miss him a ton, but I know he's in the right place.
3. Speaking of life long best friends, Chase can e-mail now! It has been such a blessing. He's almost been out a year! He loves being out on a mission. He said, "Besides families, a mission is one of the greatest gifts a child of God can have." His testimony strengthens me so much.
(Since I keep talking about best friends, this is a just a little shout out to my other best friends away. Mom, Dad, Jacie, Tawnie, Colton, Tate, Erbear, Hanman, and Rachypoo...I love you!)
4. I'm back at Utah State getting ready to take the big Praxis test to get into the Eled program. College is   hard sometimes, but it's definitely a blast.

Love these girls. We're soul sisters.
So, basically, Life is sweet. I am so blessed.

HUNGER GAMES

Guys, I have a problem. This problem is called "I'm very much addicted to Hunger Games."

We should have won a prize or something for biggest fans, or best Portia and Effie, or The only ones who dressed up in all of Logan..but they gave it to some kid in a transformers T-shirt.

Ode to David

(written all with his lyrics)
Oh David, you're just my kind of perfect.
If anyone can make me fall in love, you can.
From the first moment I laid my eyes on you, I knew I could never let go.
I Saw you from a distance, saw you from the stage. Something about the look in your eyes, something bout your beautiful face. I just wanted to reach out to you and touch your hand.
Nothing brings me down when you're around, it's like Zero Gravity.
It's the butterflies that keep me feelin so alive, so alive.
I guess it's just something bout love.
Don't know how far I've got, but I don't care I'm not going to stop running
To be with you, just to be with you.
I always knew that this day would come, eventually you will be gone.
You've got me thinking about parachutes and airplanes
Get up and Look around, like a train wreck, you're on a mission.
But it's a good place. You find it, you know it, don't make it wait.
Always remember there's somebody out there, there's somebody somewhere to show you the tenderness you need, and somebody to hold you when worries control you.
I know things are gonna get better, and I know, things are gonna be fine, and I know, Life is gonna get better.
But now, It's our last final goodbye, just because it feels so good, no use pretending we're alright,
but baby I can't complain.
Oh, and I'll always love you, believe it or not.
and even though you're gone for awhile, I know this crush ain't going away.

A Very Napoleon Post

So we were walking down the hall in the Institute building, and all of the sudden we see this very Kip like guy, by himself, doing ninja moves in the hall!! As soon as he saw us, he put his head down and hurried away all awkward like. We couldn't help but laugh.
AND THEN...
My Dad drove me and Lynds out to Preston Idaho for some ice cream and an adventure. Also, we just really wanted to see Napoleon Dynamite’s house. We didn’t know where it was, so we asked some junior high boys walking down the street. I asked them, “Do you know where Napoleon lives?” They just looked at me like I was stupid, and replied, ”Yeah, he just lives down the street!” In my excitement, I responded, “really?!!,” but what happened next was unexpected. The dude yelled, “NO! He doesn’t live here!”
That guy was dumb. I know the actual Napoleon Dynamite doesn’t actually live there, I meant where it was filmed. I did not enjoy being attacked by a Napoleon Dynamite hater, but it was still funny. Sadly, we never found the house, but we did see the high school and some geese, so I’d say it was all worth while J
