Happiness

Happiness is laughing with your best friends and being crazy with your family.
Happiness is someone smiling at you when you have a rough day.
It's getting a phone call from someone special the moment when you want it the most,
It's wrapping up in a warm blanket and crying with your friends during a cute chick flick
Happiness is walking outside with confidence in your giant sunglasses with the wind blowing in your hair
Happiness is being able to walk in your backyard with nothing to do
Happiness is walking inside and seeing your family dancing in funny costumes
Happiness is a surprise visit from a friend
It's having people come to support you in all the things you do
It's driving for no reason and hearing your favorite song come on the radio
Happiness is going on a trip and having lots of fun then coming home
It's dancing in the rain, and giving hugs
Happiness is a little baby’s giggle and a flowering bud
It's a rushing river and a flowing song
It's bubbles in the summer, and a sweet autumn breeze
It's a family who loves you, and a warm shower on a cold winter's night
Happiness is watching a storm roll in, and ice cream with sprinkles and chocolate syrup
It's catching snowflakes on your tongue and drinking hot chocolate in the cold
It's that moment when you accomplish one of your dreams
It's wishing on a star
Happiness is looking at a beautiful nature scene
Happiness is an "I love you"
Happiness isn’t one big thing, It’s all the little things
Happiness is whatever you make it out to be.
Dare to dream. Dare to smile. Dare to make a difference. Dare to make your life worth living.
Happiness isn't having everything perfect, it's daring to see beyond the imperfections.
Your attitude makes your life the way that it is. We can always be happy no matter what happens in life.

kayaking, fireworks, moths, and shel

Alright, a certain friend, cough cough syd, told me I need to blog more. so here's another post just for her :)
So the other day I went kayaking with my fam and some friends. Let me just say, my canoe dominated. We tipped every single person over, (including us, hehe my fault) except my mom, she's too quick. We didn't even feel guilty about it either :) We said it was because we had the "Sacagewa Spirit" (I have no idea how to spell her name, but you get the idea) My arms killed after though from rowing so hard, but quite a good work out it was. Our friends from Idaho came, and the mom was screaming like crazy. So funny. Every time she goes kayaking, she gets tipped over. Poor Karen :) We had so much fun. The next day was our 4th of July celebrations. My cousin Rachael also came to join in the fun. We went to the parade, ate two giant breakfasts, had a BBQ, and did fireworks. Yeah I know, a TON of eating, but what are holidays for? I think the best part of the day was everyone running around in circles with giant sparklers that never end. Can I just say that sparklers/fireworks are my most favorite things ever? That's why 4th of July is my second favorite holiday (Christmas is first of course)...fireworks!! I love love love them. They make me so happy.  I also went to my cabin with my family, and just got back today. Wow, we had quite the night. After four wheeling, we all sat around and read, even me. I know, I know, me reading?! It's true.Get this...I read two entire books in one day! (no not picture books, like actual 217 page books!!!) I was shocked at myself. So anyway, Tawnie was reading this book where the kid is afraid of Shel Silverstein, so it kind of got her afraid of him too. That night when we went to bed, she kept saying that Shel is haunting her. Everytime something touched her (which was a lot since there were three girls in one tiny bed) she screamed and said it was Shel Silverstein trying to get her. Well, my brother Colton snuck out from his bed and crawled to Tawnie and started grabbing her in the pitch black darkness. Well you can imagine the screams that came from her mouth. "Something is grabbing me! It's Shel Silverstein! It's Shel Silverstein! He's Haunting me! Help!! AAAAAAAA!" (something along those lines) over and over. I could not stop laughing. It was so funny. Then a moth attacked me when I tried to go downstairs for a drink, so I stayed under the covers until Colton finally killed it. Gotta love my bro. My husband better kill moths for me, or I just might die. I don't know how I'm ever going to survive college. I went to young womens today, and we got ready for trek. I am so excited, but a little nervous too, but I bet it will still be fun :) I can't wait! ps. SYD GO TO TREK!!! I really want some lemon chicken and twice baked potatoes right now, but since it's almost 1 in the morning, I probably should eat something a little easier to make...Ooo Colton is eating some cereal or something. I think I will go join him. good night my dear friends. Before that, here's a picture of your worst nightmare, well Tawnie's anyway.
(I think this picture is why the kid in the story and Tawnie are afraid of him)
