:)

I have decided to go on a mission! During conference, President Monson announced that the missionary ages have changed. Men can go at 18, and girls can now go at 19. As soon as he announced that, me and my Mom looked at each other and both started crying. We knew I was going to go. I ran upstairs, and said a prayer. Everything felt right. I felt warmth, peace, and a little bit of that "Oh my gosh I'm scared" feeling. I am starting my papers tomorrow, and I can't wait. I can't help but feel that this new change is for me. Some people have told me that this is all so sudden, and I should wait until the summer, but I've talked with Heavenly Father, and we've decided on next semester. I'm putting my availability date for December 26. I cannot wait to serve the Lord for 18 months teaching others about the true happiness of The Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm nervous, but also really excited. I know this is what I'm supposed to be doing at this time, and I am so grateful for this new blessing in my life.

Life is sweet.

I am so blessed. It's been awhile, so here's some updates.
1. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work as a counselor at Brighton Girls' camp. It changed my life, and I miss it everyday. Miracles happened everyday. I felt the spirit so strong, and I loved seeing my girls' testimonies grow. I had a lot of incredible experiences, and met some best friends, whom I'm sure I knew in the pre-existence. Brighton has taught me so much, and changed me for the better. It will always have a special place in my heart. It was the best summer of my life.

2. My life long best friend Justine, left for his mission to the Philippines! Our "See you later" was perfect. We both cried and hugged a lot. We are happy though:) He's been out 2 months now! Crazy! I am so proud of him. He is such an incredible example to me. I miss him a ton, but I know he's in the right place.
3. Speaking of life long best friends, Chase can e-mail now! It has been such a blessing. He's almost been out a year! He loves being out on a mission. He said, "Besides families, a mission is one of the greatest gifts a child of God can have." His testimony strengthens me so much.
(Since I keep talking about best friends, this is a just a little shout out to my other best friends away. Mom, Dad, Jacie, Tawnie, Colton, Tate, Erbear, Hanman, and Rachypoo...I love you!)
4. I'm back at Utah State getting ready to take the big Praxis test to get into the Eled program. College is   hard sometimes, but it's definitely a blast.
