and such

On saturday, I went to lagoon with a bunch of my buds for Hannah's clogging competition. Oh man, it was fun. It involved best friends, cute boys (very cute boys), food, dancing, and rides. Can't get much better than that. :) I would tell all about it, but I'm too tired to write everything right now. Just know that it was a total blast, and I love my friends.
I also went and saw "Letters to Juliet" with my mom and sister. Oh my gosh, I totally totally loved it. It's so so so adorable. I'm such a sucker for chick flicks. I'm definately going to buy it, and I want to go see it again soon with my friends.
Yesterday, I went to my grandma's house, and played baseball in the rain with my cousins. We were soaked, but we were loving every minute of it. They are the best, and I always have so much fun when I'm with them. I love my family. I'm the luckiest girl in the world. My cousin, who's a year older than me, took a senior who had never been asked to any high school dance to prom. I'm so proud of him.
My birthday is in a week! I'm so excited! I'm going to Idaho to see our friends (practically family) to celebrate, since it's family party this year. We are going to go on a shopping spree, and having a nerf gun war. It's going to be great!
School is alomost out, and I need to get my grades up, and my work done, then once the snow is gone, summer will finally be here, and I will be free from math and school forever, well a few months anyway :)

A Little Spice

I love photography. I think I might want to become a photographer some day. I just love taking pictures of everything I can, and it just makes me happy. It's one of my favorite things to do. Ok, I'm procrastinating english, so I will hurry and put some pictures I took on, just for fun, and because this blog needs more pictures :)

Doesn't Matter

So me and my mom were weeding the other day, and we got talking. In the long run of things, it really doesn't matter if you are the captain of the football team, make the school musical, go to prom, become an sbo, make the drill team, and so on. I mean seriously, nobody is going to come up to you when you're out of high school, and ask,"Hey, did you go to prom?, Were you on the football team? Did you make the school musical?" In all reality, nobody cares about those things after the fact. I mean, I know that it seems important at the time, but what really matters in life is what you do with yourself, how many people you serve, how many smiles you make, and how much happiness you bring. I mean sure all those things are fun at the time, and they are great, but we shouldn't base our lives around them. That shouldn't be our focus on life. We need to remember what's really important, and our lives will be a whole lot better. We will be a lot happier with ourselves. I mean, just because you don't make a team, or go to prom or whatever, doesn't mean that you're not a great person. Those things don't make you who you are. The things that really matter, love, courage, kindness, service, and happiness, that's what makes you you, and that's what really matters.
