Jump into Life
These past few weeks have been full of adventure...
I went to Colorado for a week and a half with my friend to help babysitt her neice and nephews. They are adorable kids, but let me tell ya, it was exhausting. I was seriously starting to doubt my future motherly skills, but we had fun. I think I have played enough "Motorboat" and watched enough "Little Einsteins" to last me a lifetime. The baby started calling me "Kar" and when she saw some pictures of me on facebook she kept saying "Kar" over and over. Then the little boy fell asleep while eating his hot dog, and I couldn't help laughing. They are so stinking cute.
The day after I got back, I went to Costa Vida in the Gateway, then off to the Backstreet Boys concert with my wonderful cousin Rachael. Oh my heck, it was amazing. We had a total blast. A certain friend didn't believe that I knew any of their songs, but I proved her wrong by singing and dancing to almost every single song :) I also bought a shirt. I love it haha. We had a blast. When we got home late that night, we stayed up watching more backstreet boys stuff then tryed to do an all nighter, but I had girls camp in the morning, so we ended up lasting until either 4:30 or 5:30, I can't remember but it was so fun :)
The next morning, I was on my way to girls camp :) I still hadn't caught up on sleep from babysitting or the concert, so I was way tired, but still excited. We spent the car ride rocking out to Justin Beiber, and loved every minute of it :) Our theme was RACE (Righetousness Always Conquers Evil). I thought it was cute. We got adorable pink shirts to go along with it :) Almost everything I brought was pink (pajamas, blanket, jacket, sunglasses, shirt, ect.), so we decided my personal theme was pink. When we made our flip flops, of course I just had to make pink polka dot ones :) We went to this way fun ropes course called Clas. I got to ride a zip line, canoes, and a ginormous swing. Those were so fun, especially the swing. I was screaming like a mad woman. We also had to climb up a very tall swinging log (harnessed to it of course) then once we got to the top, we had to walk across another log way up in the air, then we had to fall off of it backwards. BACKWARDS! It was so scary, but so so fun. I started dancing while going down on the harness rope thing. I felt like I was flying. We also had to climb up another very tall tree (again, harnessed), then at the top, we would get on a platform then jump off the entire tree, and try to grab a ring in the sky. The girl before me got so scared and froze up at the top, and it took her forever to jump. I felt so bad for her. So when I went, I tried to do it pretty fast or I would have been frozen like her. So once I jumped, the guy helped me get out of the harness and told me "way to jump." I thought it was pretty funny. That thing was so terrifying, but it was totally awesome, and once I jumped, I loved it. I was so proud of all of us for being brave and doing it :) I have bruises and scratches from all that hard work haha. I want to go to that place again sometime. It was so cool. The next day we did a 5k "Race for the Pure." that was fun too. Girls camp is always a total blast. I loved every second of it. :) I finally caught up on all my sleep yesterday and today. It felt wonderful.
Jacie and Dad are finally back from England/Scotland/Whales/Ireland. Yay! I missed them. They had a blast. I asked Jacie to bring me back a prince with an accent, but instead she brought me back two sweatshirts, a little cup, and way cool pink bedazzled sunglasses. I guess that's almost as good as a prince ;)
Wednesday is the midnight showing of The Last Airbender! I can't wait! :)
Summer is so great. I love it.

Bliss
summer is finally here! let's all do the dance of joy! I just have to take the ACT then I will be free! here's what's been going on lately...
ok i will start with yesterday. I MET DAVID ARCHULETA!!! I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. My only regret about that moment is that the deseret book people didn't let me get his signature because I didn't buy a book. Lame, but understandable. I didn't really have time to talk to him either, because they rushed everyone so fast. So it was basically look at him, smile, and have your heart melt into pieces. I did get to meet a new friend though named Kallie. She is super nice, and super great. During David's mini concert, I got to be super close to him, and I'm in the newspaper :). He sang two of my favorite songs, "Crush," and "God Bless the Broken Road" (Rascal Flatts). You have no idea how happy I was. I could not stop smiling...literally. Thanks to Karli, my other david loving friend, I was able to go, and I had a total blast. I thought I had lost my obsession with him, but when I got up there two feet away from him, and he started singing, it all came back. Oh boy, greatest thing of my life. After that, I went up to my grandma's house for a barbeque with the fam. We played the usual baseball, and I got to play with the adorable baby. Then I went to my cousins' house and had a sleepover. I hung out with my cousin Kevin, and we had a lot of fun. We hung out with two of his friends (because one is moving) driving, dancing, and playing "risk" until 3 in the morning. Then today we went bowling and watched silly shows. I accidentally threw the bowling ball behind me instead of in front of me haha, how embarassing, but it was hilarious. We couldn't stop laughing. I just love my cousins/family. They are always so much fun to be around.
When I got home I went to see the Hubble show at Clark Planitarium with my best buds, then we played games the rest of the night. We played this one game that involves slapping your thighs, and I guess I got a little too into it. When I came home, I saw that my thighs were majorly bruised and red everywhere. They are discusting. At first I thought I had cancer or something, then I remembered the slapping thing. I can't believe I hit myself that hard. I didn't even realize that I was doing it, but it is pretty funny. Summer has been great so far. Hopefully it will just keep on getting better :) Here's some pictures :)
this was the one in the newspaper :)
Look how close I am :)
Kallie is the one in the pink
I love him :)
sigh :)
